What Happened

Police in the area have information on a crash that injured a driver at I-10 in Baytown, TX on June 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:41 a.m. According to investigators, a GMC Sierra operated by a 27-year-old Baton Rouge, LA was headed eastbound on an I-10 feeder road. At the same time, a Buick Enclave operated by 59-year-old Richard William Elmore was headed southbound in a southbound lane. The GMC is alleged to have run a red light and collided with the Buick, leaving Elmore with serious injuries. The other driver was not injured and cited for Running Red Light.
