What Happened

Houston Police have information on a collision that killed a pedestrian at Brittmoore Rd in Houston, TX on May 10th, 2023. They say the incident happened around 3:40 a.m.  Investigators allege a Nissan Frontier operated by 57-year-old Jose Ricardo Carcamo collided with a pedestrian crossing the roadway at the time. Following the collision they allege the vehicle left the scene without stopping to render aid to the victim. The victim, identified as 27-year-old Samuel Martinez Rodriguez, was killed in the incident. Carcamo was later located by authorities and arrested following questioning by authorities on a Failure to Stop and Render Aid Causing Death charge.
