What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured people at FM 423 in The Colony, TX on September 28th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:50 p.m. A Honda Civic operated by a 26-year-old Denton man reportedly ran a red light and t-boned a Toyota Sienna operated by 38-year-old Trisha Motley. The impact pushed the Toyota into a Nissan Xterra and that vehicle into another. Motley suffered minor injuries as did 52-year-old Trisha Kee. The Civic driver was seriously injured and charged with Driving While Intoxicated W Open Container.
