What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck that killed two drivers on West Loop S and Beechnut St in Houston, TX on January 20th, 2019. Police say the accident began when an alleged intoxicated driver hit another vehicle, causing the drivers vehicle to become disabled. Another vehicle then hit the disabled vehicle after the previous vehicle swerved to avoid it. The two people inside that vehicle were both killed. Two drivers were charged with driving while intoxicated.
