What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-30 in Hunt, TX on November 13th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:43 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 26-year-old Tyler Houghton was headed westbound on I-30 when it veered right to take an exit before merging back onto the interstate. The vehicle was not able to completely merge and lost control at a curve before hitting a guardrail and going into a skid. The vehicle went unto a grass median and trapped Houghton in the vehicle. Police say Houghton suffered serious injuries in the crash.
