What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Bay Area Blvd and Space Center Blvd in Houston, TX on December 15th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:10 a.m. According to investigators, four vehicles were stopped for an eastbound traffic light at the intersection. One of the vehicle, a Lincoln MKX, is said to have failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of another, a Buick Enclave. The impact pushed the Buick into one of the stopped vehicles, a different Lincoln MKX. The Buick also struck a stopped Mercedes, which pushed the Mercedes into a stopped Keep. The driver of the Buick, an unnamed 55-year-year-old woman, died at the scene. A passenger in the first Lincoln MKX was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Additional details were not available.
