What Happened

Odessa Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at 42nd St and Tanglewood in Odessa, TX on April 14th, 2023. Police say the incident happened as a Tesla Model 3 and GMC Acadia collided at the intersection. Investigators say the GMC was turning to head south onto Tanglewood at the time and Tesla collided with a traffic signal pole following the initial collision. Police did not state which vehicle may have had right-of-way. The driver of the Tesla, identified as 21-year-old Zachary Rosier, was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from.
