What Happened

Washington State Patrol officials are investigating a crash that left one person dead at I-5 in Federal Way, WA on March 6th, 2023. Police say it involved four vehicles colliding under unclear circumstances. Right now, investigators believe a Honda Civic operate day 41-year-old Tyson Blodgett lost control for unknown reasons before colliding with a concrete barrier. The vehicle was then struck by three vehicles, including a semi-truck. Blodgett was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. It was not stated if anyone else involved was injured.
