What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-495 in Wilmington, DE on December 30th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:03 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer was headed southbound on I-495. The truck exited the road and stopped between the exit and southbound lanes. A Honda HRV operated by 29-year-old Dennis Parkstone, was headed southbound before veering from its lane and colliding with the trick. The collision left Parkstone with fatal injuries at the scene.
