What Happened

State Police have information on a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 199 in Parker County, TX on December 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:20 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by an unnamed 40-year-old Azle, TX man was headed southbound on Ashwood Rd. The truck, which officers say was either oversized or carrying an oversized load, came to a stop at a yield sign. As aCadillac CTS operated by 42-year-old Constantino Hernandez-Resendiz approached, it collided with the oversized truck after previously attempting evasive action. The collision left Hernandez-Resendiz with serious injuries. The truck driver was not injured. Additional information was not available.
