What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Baucum Rd in Ellis County, TX on December 1st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11 p.m. Authorities are saying a Nissan Murano operated by 59-year-old was traveling eastbound at the time. It left the road and struck a barbed wire fence before losing control on the wet roadway. It then veered into a tree, the impact causing the vehicle to catch fire. Ball suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Police had no additional information to share.
