What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 2234 in Stafford, TX on July 17th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:18 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Tucson operated by an unnamed 28-year-old Austin woman was headed eastbound on Adams St as a Toyota Venza operated by 21-year-old Trevis Laquinn Sample was going southbound on FM 2234. Police allege the the Hyundai failed to yield to oncoming traffic, colliding with the Toyota. Sample was seriously injured in the collision, according to police. The Austin woman had less serious injuries and authorities recommended a Failure to Yield at Stop Sign charge.
