What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 84 in Fairfield, TX on July 1st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:40 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC truck operated by 29-year-old Dustin Alexander Duncan was headed eastbound on East Commerce St before colliding with the rear of a Jeep Liberty operated by Latoya Morton. Morton had injuries believed to be non-life-threatening while an unnamed passenger had more seriously injuries. Authorities say Duncan was not injured and recommended a Failure to Control Speed charge.
