What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Hwy 24 in Campbell, TX on February 19th, 2023. Police say the incident occurred around 1 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-250 operated by 32-year-old Clint Nelson was allegedly traveled in the wrong direction before colliding head-on with a Dodge Challenger operated by 19-year-old Stephen Olsen. The collision caused the the Dodge to catch fire, leaving Olsen with fatal injuries at the scene. Nelson had injured believed to be non-life-threatening. Additional information was not available.
