Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at I-35 in Austin, TX on April 9th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:37 p.m. Investigators say a Dodge Ram 1500 veered from the road into a concrete pole. Following the collision, police say the driver and two of the five occupants in the vehicle left the scene prior to their arrival. The two individuals that stayed behind had serious injuries, according to police. It was alleged the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
