What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at Hwy 44 in Garyville, LA on April 15th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8 p.m. Police are saying a motorcycle head westbound on Hwy 44 was nearing the LA 54 intersection as a tractor-trailer headed southbound on LA 54 approached. Officials say the tractor-trailer allegedly failed to yield at the intersection, turning eastbound on LA 44 ahead of the motorcycle. The two vehicles collided, the collision leaving 32-year-old motorcyclist, Frankie Credidio, fatally injured at the scene. Authorities did not yet have any additional information available.
