What Happened

Authorities have information on a crash that killed a bicyclist at Cooper St in Arlington, TX on March 25th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 5:29 a.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Sequoia headed northbound on Cooper St is said to have collided with a bicyclist. Reports allege the bicyclist, identified as 44-year-old Jared Michael Stockton, was stopped on a sidewalk, allegedly attempting to balance food recently purchased from a nearby store when the bicycle fell into the roadway. While attempting to pick to the bicycle, reports say Stockton was struck by the Toyota as it approached, leaving Stockton fatally injured.
