What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 2219 in Randall County, TX on March 20th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7:20 a.m. According to investigators, a Chrysler Town & Country is said to have failed to control its speed prior to colliding with the rear of a Subaru Legacy stop behind other vehicles at a stop sign. Officials say the impact created a chain reaction collision, the impact leaving 31-year-old Subaru operator, Jordan Cox, seriously injured. Reports indicate there were no other reported injuries and show a Failure to Control Speed charge was recommended and/or issued against the operator of the Chrysler.
