What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a hit-and-run accident that killed a man at I-610 in Harris County, TX on September 1st, 2022. Police say it happened around 1:30 a.m. According to initial investigation, an unidentified male pedestrian was walking eastbound in or near a lane of travel before he was struck by an unknown vehicle. The crash left the man with fatal injuries. The vehicle involved fled the scene prior to police arrival and authorities are currently teaching for the driver.
