What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at FM 16 in Van Zandt County, TX on March 19th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3:35 p.m. According to investigators, a Buick Lacrosse is alleged to have failed to yield right of way at the intersection with FM 773 before colliding with an eastbound BMW X3. Police say the driver of the BMW, identified as 57-year-old Mayra Cantu De Hernandez, was seriously injured.
