Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 36 in Gatesville, TX on August 9th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Wrangler operated by 58-year-old Melissa Sue Springer collided with a tractor-trailer attempting to cross the intersection with Osage Rd. Investigators allege the truck failed to to yield. Springer suffered serious injuries while the truck driver was uninjured.
