What Happened

Austin Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that killed a person at I-35 in Austin, TX on April 12th, 2023. Polices say the incident happened around 7:21 p.m. Investigators believe 62-year-old Ramon Clemente Nolasco was headed northbound on a bicycle on the sidewalk before he was struck by a GMC Yukon pulling out of a driveway. Following the collision, the vehicle fled the scene, leaving Nolasco with injuries he died from. Police are currently searching for the vehicle and driver involved.
